Well, the party was a hit! The next morning, the girls didn't wake up until 12:00 in the afternoon. And they didn't get to sleep until like 5:30.
Mia's mom fixed the girls a big lunch when they woke up, since they woke up practically at lunchtime.
She fixed, ham and turkey sandwiches, chicken salad, and homemade potato chips, (the really really crunchy kind!).
When the girls were all done, their mom's picked them up.
Mia was sad to see the girls leave, but also happy because she thought that her slumber party was really fun and the girls had a good time.
Mia walked upstairs to her room and started to plan her next slumber party.
THE END.
NOTE: This story was really short and didn't really have an interesting plot, so I am really sorry! I will try to do better on my next book.

Mia's Slumber Party: chapter 4
Soon, it was time for bed.
All of the girls crammed into the loft, lied down their sleeping bags on the soft white carpet, and fluffed their pillows.
"Okay girls, I've picked out a few movies for us to watch and I've got some snacks too!" Mia said while turning the TV on.
"I'll be out here putting the food together," Mia walked out of the room and started pouring some chips into a big plastic bowl.
Meanwhile, the girls in the loft were planning a big surprise for Mia. Well, it wasn't really a big surprise, just a surprise big enough for Mia to love it.
"I'm coming!" Mia exclaimed from the kitchen.
"Shh, she's coming," Juliet whispered.
Mia came in carrying a tray with the bowl of chips, some salsa, cookies, and sodas on it.
"Okay, I'm back," Mia said setting the tray of snacks down on the wooden side table.
"SURPRISE!!" all of the girls sang as they handed Mia a scrapbook.
It was pink with big brown dots and the sides had little ribbons attached. Mia carefully opened it up and saw one picture with all of her friends and her at the state fair they went to last year. She flipped through the whole book in less than five minutes.
"Oh, thank you guys, thank you! I love it!" Mia hugged each girl and they all sat down to watch their movie.

Mia's Slumber Party: chapter 3
After school on Friday, she was waiting and waiting for her friends to get there. She had everything ready, food, games, movies. It was all waiting to be eaten or played with.
DING DONG! DING DONG! THE BELL WAS RINGING! Mia could hardly believe her ears! She raced to the front door, patted down her floral sundress and opened the door.
“Hey guys!” Mia said to her guests.
“Hey Mia! Wow, I can’t wait for this party to start!” Juliet said.
“Yeah, me too! This is going to be so much fun!” Becky squealed.
“Come on in!” Mia invited them.
“Wow, your house is so pretty Mia!” Jane said while examining her house.
“Yeah, it really has that old country touch to it,” Lily told her.
“Oh thanks guys, yeah we Johnson’s like to go country since we lived in the west before,” Mia explained.
They all walked in the living room where they saw all the games.
“What are we going to do first Mia?” Bethany asked.
“Well, what do you guys think?” Mia said taking a seat.
“What do you have planned for us to do?” Lily asked.
“Oh, I have lots of stuff to do, we could play Twister?” she suggested.
They all nodded their heads, so Mia got the game out and set it up.
“Left foot green Juliet,” Becky said.
They had been playing the game for at least fifteen minutes when Mia’s mom and dad came in the room.
“Hi girls! Oh wow, someone’s in a pickle,” Mia’s mom said when she saw all of the girls tangled up from playing Twister.
“Hi…hi mom, hi dad,” Mia said trying to look under Jane’s leg.
“We’re almost finished Mr. and Mrs. Johnson,” Becky said.
“Well, have fun girls, Mia, we’re going to a party so we won’t be back till late, have fun,” her dad told them.
“Okay, bye!” Mia said.
“Right hand blue!” Becky said.
After the girls finished their game, they went outside and jumped on the trampoline.
“This is so fun Mia!” Bethany announced.
“Yeah, this is even better than Shelby Watkins party last year!” Lily joined in.
“Well, I’m honored!” Mia said jumping up and down starting to get dizzy.
Soon they just all fell down at the same time and laughed.
“So, girls gather around, everyone must tell their most embarrassing moment in their life!” Becky said.
“Well,” Juliet said, “The most embarrassing thing in my life was when I got in trouble for sneaking scissors from Miss Dooley’s desk in second grade,”
Mia got uncomfortable once it was her turn to say her most embarrassing thing that happened to her in her life.
“Okay, its Mia’s turn!” all the girls announced.
“Um, well,” Mia fidgeted.
“C’mon Mia, everyone told theirs,” Lily said.
“Well… okay I guess,” Mia gave up.
All of the girls listened closely to what Mia was about to tell them.
“Um, the most embarrassing thing in my life was when I tripped over a bottle of water and fell into C.J. Baker’s arms,” Mia blushed.
All the girls were silent and then Bethany spoke up, “That is the best embarrassing moment ever!”
Everyone started clapping and whistling.
“What? How is that the best?” Mia asked.
“You fell into C.J.'s arms! I mean it is rare for a girl to fall into Phil Baker’s arms, Mia,” Jane said.
Mia started to think about it and the more she contemplated, the more she understood.
It was rare for someone to fall into C.J.'s arms. And she was the first girl ever to do it.
“Let’s all go inside and have a snack!” Mia exclaimed.
They all went inside and had a good time.

Mia's Slumber Party: chapter 2
The next day, Mia was sending out the invites to her slumber party.
She handed them out the next day at school. She gave one to three of her very best friends, Lily, Bethany, and Juliet. She gave one to two more friends, Jane and Becky.
She was so excited. She couldn’t wait to get home and start planning.
When Mia got home she went straight to work.
First she started with snacks.
She wrote down SNACKS in big bold letters at the top of her paper.
She looked in the kitchen cabinet to find things to munch on for when they watched movies at night.
“Let’s see, we have half a bag of pretzels, a box of cheesy crackers, some popcorn bags, and two whole bags of Chocolate Chip Crunchies.” She said.
Mia wrote down all of it in her notebook and started on the games.
She looked in her basement to find some games they could play and she found in a bin, Clue, Twister, Scene It?, and Chutes and Ladders.
I guess we could play Twister. She said to herself and got out the game. She then wrote Twister in her notebook.
Then she thought of her own games to play, they could play Charades, Murderer in the Dark, Wax Museum on the trampoline, and lots of other stuff.
She wrote all of it down.
She couldn’t wait until tomorrow.

Mia's Slumber Party: Chapter 1
Once Upon A Time...
There lived a thirteen year old girl named Mia Johnson. Mia was a fun, loving, happy thirteen year old girl with no problems in her life, until one Tuesday evening.
Mia walked up to her mom and dad and cleared her throat.
“Mother, Father, I have an announcement to make,” Mia said standing on the red stool her father made.
Mr. and Mrs. Johnson put down their newspapers and gave their daughter their attention, “Well, what is it Mia?” her mother asked.
Mia with her purple polka-dotted notebook in her right hand flipped to the first page and began, “Thank you for being here on this fine fall Tuesday evening. My name is Mia Johnson as some of you may know. Let’s just skip on ahead and get to the point already,”
She paused for a moment, took a deep breath and said, “Mom, Dad, I think I am old enough to host my very own slumber party,”
Her mom and dad looked at each other for a minute and Mia started to get nervous about what they would say.
Mia has never had anyone over for a sleepover at her house in her whole life. She has never slept over at someone’s house either. The reason for that was because she was always scared of leaving her mom and dad to sleep at someone else's house or someone sleeping at her own house. But she had finally gotten over it, or so she thought.
“Are you sure?” Mia’s father asked.
“I’m positive! I’ll take care of everything!” She said in her best grown up voice.
“Alright, if you can handle it,” they said.
Mia got down from her stool and hugged them both and ran to her room.
This is going to be the best slumber party ever!
